ARTIST BIO

Vicki has both a Bachelor and Master's of Science in Nursing.  She worked as a nurse and administrator for 30+ years in the United States, Saudi Arabia and Australia.  Vicki dabbled in art prior to her nursing career but didn't pursue it seriouasly until arriving in Australia over ten years ago.  Her art taining includes the Adelaide Central School of Art, and study along side artists such as Louise Feneley, Skip Whitcombe (American artist), Colley Whisson, Lauryn Arnott, John Lacey and others.

Exhibitions have included locations such as the Queenscliff Art Exhibition 2021 - 2024, Stumphill Gallery, Victor Harbour Art Show, Red Poles Winery, Gallery M, Glenelg Art Gallery, Walkerville Art Show, Orange Heart Gallery at Women's and Children's Hospital, Splashout Art Gallery and several other locations in the Adelaide area.

Vicki works primarily in oils but explores other materials as well.  Although she is known to take on any subject, her presesent primary artistic interests include the Australian contemporary landscape, the human figure and abstract.  She signs her work TDC, short for Taylor Dickson Creek; surname initials for her mother, husband and father.  It's also her pen signature for writing.

Dickson presently resides in Glenelg, SA with her husband and Ella, the bouncing German Shorthaired Pointer.
