Having retired in 2015 from her long standing careers in medical research science and communications, Edna now has the time to indulge her creative side.

Edna has no formal art training, but enjoys learning as she goes. She is inspired by the beauty and colours of everyday life especially the outdoors.

Her preferred medium is acrylic on canvas. Edna enjoys creating special effects and texture through the use of metallic paints, impasto, painting knives and pouring techniques.
